Österåker added that Fast Poker offers an easy and fast way of playing poker online. The software allows players to move to a different table as soon as they fold cards at one. With the software, players can play 5 times more Texas Hold’em games than with the standard version.

Rush Poker which has similar functionality as Fast Poker was developed three years ago by Full Tilt Poker. With the sale of Full Tilt being finalized, it is expected that the site will be re-launched along with its Rush Poker software. Industry watchers are of the opinion that more such software launches will be seen in the near future.

Daniel Eskola, Unibet’s Head of Gaming stated that the new software marks a big development in online poker. The software allows poker players to continue playing the game without losing its essence. Eskola mentioned that the Unibet team is working closely with Relax Gaming for improving the new offering so that it is well accepted by players of the site.

Zoom Poker from PokerStars

A few days before Fast Poker was introduced, the leading online poker room PokerStars, launched new software called Zoom Poker which allows players to move from one table to another without wasting a second after folding cards. With the new software, players don’t have to look for a table when they sign up with PokerStars.

All they have to do is, register for a game and pay for the buy-in, after which the software will allocate a random table. Once the player folds cards at the table, he will be moved instantly to another one with different opponents. 25% of PokerStars’ cash game players have reportedly started using the new software.

New Software Released by Bodog Poker

New software has been released by Bodog Poker due to increasing concerns over collusion possibilities at the poker site. Last year, Bodog Poker introduced a system of anonymous tables which enables a player to take part in poker games without disclosing his identity. Information related to a player cannot be accessed by his opponents at anonymous tables.

However, Bodog Poker customers expressed concerns that collusion can be carried out by players easily at anonymous tables. To address this issue, new software has been developed by Bodog which allows players to request for a hand history 24 hours after a game ends. Bovada Poker, the new version of Bodog Poker which launched a new tournament series recently, will be also using the software.

Hand reviews come with information related to the hole-cards of all participants in a particular hand. In case a player suspects collusion, he can contact the security team of the poker room which will evaluate the hand. Bodog Network’s VP, Jonas Odman, stated that the new software allows Bodog Poker to offer features which competitor sites can’t.
